Terrence Houlahan has been providing Linux & Network engineering solutions to small startups, right through to the world’s largest brands and across diverse industry sectors.

His working style is collaborative, eliciting feedback & cooperation from client staff to produce solutions that reflect their input to achieve the organization’s business objectives.

All solutions are meticulously documented- even creating video demonstrations to illustrate complex processes- ensuring a 100% knowledge transfer after the completion of the contracted work.

Having gained wide & deep cross-discipline enterprise IT skills during his 20+ years of experience, Terrence is able to deliver end-to-end solutions with accountability for results, as well as making him a very effective troubleshooter.

And all that experience enables him to assess risk to ensure we make it through the minefield of IT transformation, moving from the present state to deliver the desired future state.

Although based equidistant between Cambridge & London, where work can’t be performed remotely Terrence is happy to travel according to the requirements of the project.

When not solving interesting IT problems, Terrence keeps fit by cycling his 50″ Penny-Farthing 18-25 miles most days. The background picture was taken at the British Open Penny-Farthing Championships in Kent on 20220723.  Terrence managed a top-ten place finish (8th) at The Great Knutsford Penny-Farthing Race, a gruelling 3 hour race through the streets of Knutsford held only once every 10 years which draws High Wheel racers from all over the world. Terrence has raced Penny-Farthings as far afield as Belgium & Sweden for German Cyclewear firm Owayo’s as part of Team Owayo.
